It’s seemingly all hearts and glitter in pink and red hues. Easy right?! Even better: I’ve compiled a list of ten Galentine’s Day must haves that are necessities for your next date with your besties!

ONE: Front Porch Welcome Sign

Garlands and banners are staple pieces for any get together! I almost always use one when hosting an event. Whether it be a birthday party, wedding, or anniversary, garland and banners always put the finishing touches on your event’s overall vision. See how I made an easy banner here!

THREE: Glitter!

I made these adorable MESS FREE DIY glitter shoes and they’ll go perfect for a festive Galentine’s Day party! FOUR: Table Cloth & Confetti

This is the easiest part! Grab your favorite table scatter and toss it atop a boldly colored tablecloth. When I plan accordingly, I like to order from my favorite Etsy shop. She makes custom confetti AND banners! They are amazing quality and worth the price! The shop owner is prompt, efficient, and as sweet as she can be! She also makes adorable cake toppers and other paper products to suit your event’s needs! Check out her Etsy shop here!

FIVE: Table setting

Set tables are so elegant and visually appealing. It’s probably more of a “girl thing,” which in turn is more fitting for an event as such. Mix and match a few dishes with accented colors like gold or silver to really make your setting really pop!

SIX: Balloons

Speaking of POP, you cannot have a proper celebration without the actual number one party essential itself! Balloons have forever been the most eye-catching pieces at parties and events. Make an adorable arch to use as a photo backdrop for you and your friends to make memories! It will double as decoration *and* a party prop! Win win! Set some simple photo props near the backdrop to take fun photos that you and your friends will never forget!

SEVEN: Wine!

What’s a gal’s gathering without WINE? Of course there’ll be wine! Grab a bottle of bestie’s favorite fermented grapes and have a ball! This idea really is self explanatory.

EIGHT: Sweet Treats

Another one of Galentine’s Day must haves are yummy treats! No party is complete without an arrangement of sweet treats! Bake or buy your favorite sweets and set them out on your pretty table cloth with themed table scatter! You can’t mess this up even if you tried!

NINE: Games

Super easy and cute game to play! Make some giant Xs, Os, and a TIC TAC TOE board with poster boards or scale it to size with cardstock!  I chose the latter for this event, but a giant board sounds like way more fun!

TEN: FLOWERS

Last on the list but not least are one of nature’s most beautiful blooms, flowers! Flowers can be a representation of growth, blooming, and the upcoming spring season of renewal. I’ve yet to meet a lady who doesn’t appreciate the scent of a rose or the vibrant colors of arranged bouquets. Whether it’s one or a dozen, make a few flowers a part of your decor or as a gift for your favorite Galentine! I’m sure that flowers hardly ever disappoint!
