Hey Friends! The ever growing popularity of sharing a once idolized couple’s holiday is breaking through cliche stereotypes and is now an evolved form of celebrating those you love including close friends! This year, let Sweetest Day be the holiday to share with your significant other and make way for Galentine’s Day this February 14th!
First of All, What’s GALentine’s Day?
It’s Valentine’s Day with a plot twist! A galentine (or PAL-entine) is just what it sounds like: a gal (or pal) valentine, usually a best friend or group of very close friends. Seemingly geared toward all of the single ladies, galentines are friends whom we are celebrating and showing appreciation for their unconditional companionship.
Common misconception about Galentine’s Day: Bachelorettes ONLY!
WRONG, WRONG, and WRONG! This day is for *all* gal pals to get together and just enjoy being good friends! There are some couples who find Valentine’s Day *highly* overrated, over celebrated, and may not even celebrate it at all. And that’s okay! However, many women like this sort of thing: the candy, the flowers, and most of all- just being reminded that someone downright appreciates your presence in their life.

Have a cute little brunch setup for you and your closest gal pals! Make some sweet treats, drink wine, and enjoy being around the ladies who are most important in your life!
