SMALL BEDROOM MAKEOVER REVEAL: BEFORE & AFTER
Hey Friends! I am way too excited to show you how I transformed this small bedroom into a beautifully balanced space for less than $200! A room makeover doesn’t have to be expensive to be cozy and unique! You can do the same if you have some reclaimed wood and other material lying around the house!
Below, I dug up the best “before” picture I could find. Not pictured: the room was over crowded with dressers, mismatched furniture, and the space was just not practical at all. We gutted the room and only put the necessities back in (one dresser, a couple of wooden crates as nightstands, and the bed) and started there:
We then did a complete overhaul by transforming the room entirely, making it more practical, cozy, and eye-catching. Firstly, a fresh coat of paint is a great room refresher, brightening the space. Every room makeover should automatically include a fresh paint job. A new coat of paint (depending on color selection) can also make your room visually appear larger. Secondly, using a bold navy as the base, I made my own palette swatch as inspiration (see below). Using my color palette, I gathered small items every so often to complete the fiFurthermore, there is an image gallery filled with photos of the room, and each photo includes a link to every DIY project I accomplished to achieve the look!
