Hey Friends! It’s a gloomy day so…I decided to try a cool indoor project! I’m obsessed with wall art and personalization! Why not put them together? I revel in small projects with large potential, especially paintings and such. I am also a huge fan of bold yet simple statements! It’s a must when it comes to decorating and giving your space that “wow factor.” Now, I’m not the greatest of painters by a long shot, but my handwriting is pretty nice so I figured this pushpin wall art DIY would be fun to try! Decorating has never been this easy and affordable! It’s very frugal; as it only cost about $5 for the two items! That’s my kind of art!

Bonus: this project takes little to no effort and hardly any time to make (unless you choose to take on a piece larger than an 8×10 sized canvas)! I am already making another one! This type of wall art makes a great gift for dorm rooms, house warmings, even baby showers as nursery decor! I created a video to show you how I made this super simple (yet cute) piece with just an 8 x 10 stretched canvas and a pack of standard pushpins!
Watch my video below to make your very own pushpin wall art!
*optional: use a hot glue gun to secure the pins on the back of the canvas and cover any sharp points if you have little ones or safety concerns*
