Infant in Milk Bath with Flower Crown

Milk Bath Photoshoot

Hey Friends! Today’s post is centered around the perfect theme for your baby’s next photoshoot! Milk bath photoshoots have trended for a little while, and don’t seem to be going out of style any time soon. They vary widely, from maternity to newborn, to infant.

Milk bath photoshoots are very soft and sensual imagery pieces that are memorable and eye-catching.

Through experience, here are a couple of quick tips if you’re thinking about doing a milk bath for your next photo op:

  • Warm water yields the best comfort for your subject, especially babies. Chill bumps aren’t very flattering unless you’re watching a Peppermint Patty commercial.
  • Use equal parts water and milk for a translucent look, or use more milk with some corn starch for a less opaque bath.
  • If you use flowers, use REAL flowers and foliage. Faux flowers are heavy and they will sink immediately. You will not get the desired “lily pad” look you may have pictured
