Welcome back Friends! It’s been a couple of months too long! As you all know NTA & family made a huge move! We can’t be more ecstatic! And let me tell you- moving cross country with 3 littles is not an easy feat. Okay I’ll be completely honest- it’s extremely exhausting. The big move on top of our currently new norm – virtual learning (dun dun dun *screams*) makes each day feel more like a blur than the last. Now that we’re settled, I can share it all with you including my favorite part- the decor! Not so much the big furniture, but those tiny little accent pieces that really tie the entire room together. There’s nothing like a few pieces to liven up your space and make it feel more like home. It can be quite a challenge moving into a rented space especially when you’re subject to binding agreements that pretty much say you can’t do anything except live there. How the heck am I supposed to hang up all of my pretty pictures? How can I maximize this space efficiently and aesthetically? I’m here to answer those questions by giving you a few pointers friends! Hooks and strips, strips and hooks! You name it, I’ve hung it up with command strips! If I could, I would’ve hung our TV with them too! They’re the most durable, damage-free hanging system I’ve yet to find! And they don’t cost much! I hung all of our curtains and wall art with command hooks and strips and they’re amazing! Okay the floral trend has really been booming recently. It’s the perfect way to add a splash of color without clashing the room. If you’ve got some green, add a little pop of color to match a throw blanket (or blanket ladder) and bring the entire room together. Do you want to know where I got my blanket ladder and some of my green accents from?! Of course you do! You can never ever ever go wrong with amazon.com (Am I right? Or am I right?).
I also love the Dollar Tree! It can be hit or miss, but I never miss an opportunity to stroll down their craft, candle, and picture frame aisle. I can almost always find a nice little faux succulent or porcelain accent piece. A nice full (interchangeable) wreath is a great way to warm up the place too. Switch the ribbon to match the season or holiday and boom…instant cozy home!

That’s right! Laughter (even a smile) really is the best medicine! Lighten up a little with my favorite funnies that now double as decor and our best conversational piece about our home. What’s a guest bathroom without a lively complement? I made this dainty decal and added it to the tray on top of our toilet for a little fun. And when the seated guest looks forward, he/she will see my absolute favorite wall art in the house: my bathroom word search! Little-known secret/accident: I have shower on there twice! Haha!
