DIY Photo back drops

Hi! Thanks for stopping by!

The weather finally broke and we decided to take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy Mother Nature. You never know what you’re going to get up here (Chicago). We’ve literally had 70 degree temperatures and then snow the next day. Crazy, right?

Anyway, if you’re a proud parent like myself, you like to capture every moment of your children laughing, smiling, and playing. But sometimes we don’t want to get everyone dressed, attempt to stay clean, get in the car, drive to a photo studio, wait, and wait some more to allow someone else to capture those moments. Quite frankly, some of us can not afford to either.

So why not make your own memories at home? It’s fun, easy, and you can get creative with your props. You can use your kid’s toys, blankets, and dress up clothes! You can do whatever you want!
